WALL-E

Watch out, this news may contain spoilers about the movie - And yes, today I present you with completely different kind of news. Nothing related to game development and games :).

Yesterday I had a chance to experience something completely new. For two months I’ve been waiting for this new masterpiece of Pixar. “Sixteen hours and fifty two minutes to Hour Zero”, “Twenty Five minutes to Hour Zero”, “Zero Minutes to hour Zero”. For last 16 hoursof waiting I’ve been talking oddities like that. But so It began finally…
First of course lots of ads. Madagascar 2 which is going to be in 6 months so it’s really great time to advertise it. But considering that I didn’t like Madagascar and sequel seems to be filled only with jokes of erotic meaning I am completely fine with it. They also showed Mummy 3 which I will surely see in cinema as I liked first two parts.
And then it started. Before the actual movie, of course there was splendid short one. “Presto”. The bunny was cute, the gags were funny, the graphics were splendid and overall it was great.
Short credits…
…And the story of a bit rusty robot, who have managed to find in himself more will to live and joy than Humans do. It was the first movie I’ve ever seen to make me feel so touched. It is difficult for me to concentrate on anything, as the combination of everything - graphics, sounds, effects, story, characters, feeling - it is what creates this great movie. If I were to say what was the greatest movie I’ve ever seen, without hesitation I would say “WALL-E”. It was beautiful. It was touching. It was happy. It was joyful. Optimistic. Sad. Real. True. If I were better at English I could use even more adjectives to describe it. But there is only one thing I should say - Watch it yourself, what this Movie is cannot be explained with words.
And to make today’s news a bit more colorful, we have got a nice little marmot picture for all of you, because internet does not have enough Marmot pictures in it. If you are reading this put a Marmot on your website! This Marmot Awareness Campaign is (yet to be) started by Zolyx.co.uk.
