I am happy to inform you that Cyberix has been finally released! The actual releasement actually happened a couple of days ago, but I have waited with informing about it on site so I could tweak it and fix possible bugs. I highly recommend you to play that game – I don’t want to sound vain, but it is really well made game. The Engine was completely rewritten THREE times during its development and I spent endless hours locating and fixing errors. The astonishing pixel-art was made by Aleksander Kowalczyk (Cage) and also he contributed with beta testing and general advice (also, by listening to my bragging about how great/irritating the engine is).
Cyberix is a remake of Pacomix 2, originally made by Crazy Boys, an Amiga freeware games developers from Czech. I actually tried to contact them repeatedly but unfortunately my attempts were in vain. If anyone from the Crazy Boys team is reading this, I want you to know this: Pacomix was one of my favorite games ever! I loved it and played it ever since I was 8 or so, but only during Cyberix development I managed to complete it. I LOVED the bubble effect! The audio-visuals were astonishing and levels amazing! It inspired me to create Kulkis II. I hope you will take Cyberix as a tribute to your Craft!
Well, enough talking! Go and play some Cyberix! In following week or two it will most likely be placed here on Mauft, as well as on other game sites like Newgrounds.com
DO Enjoy this too!
